Pelin Önelçin has been working as a research assistant at the Department of Civil Engineering, Ege University, since 2012. She completed her master’s degree in Transportation Engineering in 2014.

In 2022, she received her Ph.D. from Ege University, where she continues her academic research, primarily focusing on traffic safety.
